WHAT IS DRIVING YOU?

“Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skillful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans…” Dan 1:4-15 KJV

It takes obedience to live beyond time. Purpose is the aim, the goal and aspiration of a person. Purpose is the beauty that you get from the dark. As a youth, what drives you matters a lot. It takes those that enter the vehicle of purpose to actualize destiny. Purpose is a specific vehicle of an endowment that comes from God.

If you don’t enter a vehicle that takes you to your destination, you will end up looking for a pick and drop, who will drop you in an unwanted destination. Life is in phases, while men are in sizes.

The purpose driven Youth is that one that keeps on increasing on a daily basis. It is an error to trade purpose for temporary satisfaction. If you have been driven by mere satisfaction, you cannot put on the crown of wealth and fulfillment. Total submission to the will of God is the pathway to success. The purpose driven youth will serve and submit. For God to expose your purpose, he will bury your purpose in a higher purpose.

It pains me a lot when I see youth of today most especially girls, whose purpose are built on men (boyfriends), they end up crying because they did not bury their purpose on a higher purpose. As a youth who wants to fulfill purpose, you must do the following;

  1. Put God as the Driver: - God must hold the steering of your vehicle in other for the car not to have an accident. Time right and have a right mind set toward the things of God. I see you in a speed fulfilling your purpose. “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” 1John 3:8 KJV
  2. Forget everything: - Men who are purpose driven forget everything. They have just one eye. As a youth, you must be focused. Don’t let anything take away your focus in life. Destiny is what designs every man in stages; it takes those that are focused to design. You need to focus on the shepherd. The chief shepherd is the one that gives the crown. Forget every problem, disturbance and stay focused on your purpose. “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Ps 23:1 KJV
  3. Plan: - A youth who is purpose driven will become focused. Men that plan are men that are focused. You need to plan in other for you to have a good execution. Every successful man you see today is one that looks for something to do and plans to make it increase. Gen. 37:5-11, Dan 7:1-28.
  4. Discipline: - A purpose driven youth must be disciplined. To be disciplined means doing what you ought to do at the time you are supposed to do it. You do not do things because of what you will get, you do things because of what you want to become. Discipline is the location on which the vehicle of purpose is set on. It is a plane for divine fulfillment.
  5. Mind the people you associate with: - You need to separate yourself from some people in other to succeed in that purpose. “And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.” Gen. 37:8 KJV There are youth who are keeping friends who have little or nothing to contribute to their lives or influencing them negatively.
You need to separate yourself from people who cannot contribute to your life positively. Keep Godly friends who can help you soar in that your dream.
